Such an enjoyable book! Read it in one night. There are some interesting new characters, as well as the original crew. The story develops nicely, and keeps your attention. Lucien takes most of the lead in this installment, but I loved every twisted minute!Product details

But their peaceful existence is shattered one night and Grace finds herself back in Old Montreal without her new husband, and with her only friends being from the vigilante underworld. Old faces and new threats combine to place Grace in danger, and begin a race against time to save her life.
Amber and Blue II Victory, by K. R. Rowe, is the sequel to her debut novel, Amber and Blue, and we are once again reunited with Grace and her two love rivals, Alex and Lucien. Primarily a romance novel, Victory also contains a nice helping of intrigue, suspense and violence, in addition to a full cast of characters that breathe life and quality into the story. Most of the chapters are short and this creates a fast pace and adds to the excitement of the read.
Ms. Rowe has added a raw edge to her writing in this book, and has brought Old Montreal to life as a seedy, war-torn metropolis. Lucien stands out as a very well-rounded character and there are genuine moments of romance, betrayal, and humor. A satisfying twist at the end hints at a third novel, and more intrigue to come.
Amber and Blue II Victory is a highly recommended read.
K.R. Rowe is a fantastic story teller, she makes you feel as if you are there with characters. I could almost feel the cold winds blowing as I was reading. The characters are well developed and the story really flows well. It was hard to put the book down! Now I will patiently wait on book number 3!!!!!
It isn't "cant-put-it-down" fiction but has a good storyline that follows the formula of woman gets abducted and our hero has to rescue her. There are some really interesting characters and it has left me wanting the next installment.
